JCAA congratulates Tom Boyer for being the JCAA Artist of the Month with his watercolor, “Looking toward Hayes.”

Tom said he took some liberties with the scene, trying to convey the feeling of the late afternoon sun. This quarry is now only used by a dairy farmer who has permission to fill a truck with sand to spread for his cattle’s beds.
